Instructions for Opening and Closing Sequence of Three-Valve Manifold for Differential Pressure Transmitters
The three-valve manifold for differential pressure transmitters is important equipment for measuring fluid differential pressure, which consists of three valves: a positive pressure valve, a negative pressure valve and an equalizing valve. Correct opening and closing sequence is crucial to ensuring measurement accuracy and equipment safety.
1. Opening Sequence:
1. Open the positive pressure valve: First, gently rotate the handle or operating lever of the positive pressure valve to ensure the valve is fully opened.
2. Close the equalizing valve: After confirming that the positive pressure valve has been opened, close the equalizing valve promptly.
3. Open the negative pressure valve: Finally, open the negative pressure valve to allow fluid to enter the transmitter through the negative pressure pipeline.
2. Shutdown Sequence:
1. Close the negative pressure valve: First, close the negative pressure valve to cut off the fluid passage on the negative pressure side.
2. Open the equalizing valve: Next, open the equalizing valve to balance the pressure between the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side.
3. Close the positive pressure valve: Finally, close the positive pressure valve to completely cut off the fluid passage.
Following the correct opening and closing sequence is essential for the normal operation and accurate measurement of the differential pressure transmitter.
