Product Description
The 155 series is a radar level measurement instrument based on the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) principle. It utilizes the characteristic that radar waves propagate along steel cables or probes at the speed of light. When the radar wave reaches the surface of the measured medium, part of the pulse is reflected to form an echo and returns to the pulse transmitting device along the same path. The receiver inside the instrument receives the reflected pulse and converts the distance signal into a level signal.
