The rod-type hydrostatic level gauge is developed based on the relationship between liquid hydrostatic pressure and liquid level height. When the liquid is in a static state, its internal pressure is uniformly distributed. The liquid pressure is proportional to the liquid level height, therefore, the liquid level height can be determined by measuring the hydrostatic pressure generated by the liquid.
